The "Death" of Reliving your Periscopes

The popular Periscope fetching, saving, and reposting service is closing (effective May 4). On one hand, I'll miss being able to catch a missed stream, but on the other, I also wonder if by watching a replay takes away from the "magic" of watching and interacting with a live stream.  

The way I feel about it is actually quite similar to the debate of watching your favorite tv shows an episode at a time on a weekly schedule vs the all to modern way of binge watching. 

Ultimately though, it's always sad to see options being taken away. Let's hope there's another, more financially capable and sustainable way of preserving our live streams in the future.
